Eligibility Criteria for NCERT Professors, Librarian
Educational Qualifications
- Professor: A Ph.D. degree with at least 10 years of teaching experience.
- Associate Professor: A Ph.D. degree, a Master’s degree, and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Assistant Professor: A Master’s degree or a Ph.D. degree.
- Assistant Librarian: A Master’s degree in Library Science.
Pay Scale in NCERT
- Professor: Rs. 1,44,200 per month.
- Associate Professor: Rs. 1,31,400 per month.
- Assistant Professor/Assistant Librarian: Rs. 57,700 per month.
Application Fee
- UR/OBC/EWS Candidates: Rs. 1000.
- SC/ST/PWD Candidates: No fee.

Selection Process for NCERT Recruitment 2024
